PCFA'S School Building Project

PCFA is starting a new campaign to help build school building in different parts of the Philippines to help solve the shortage of school rooms. As you know that many school rooms in the Philippines are missing according to the Department of Education. And because we are concerned about the future of the children who cannot afford good education. We want to ask you today to please make a stand and commitment towards saving the youth of the Philippines and give them the gift of education they deserve. Through your generous gift that will help us build at least two school rooms every month in different provinces in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Education is the only hope left to the thousands and thousands of poor Filipino children in every region, province, town and barrios in the Philippines. The declining quality of education is building a colossal threat to the success not only for the families of the children but also to the entire nation. It is a very common practice for the school system to over crowd or cut school hours into half just to accommodate the ever growing number of the children entering public school.
These are some of the reason why most of the public school children’s learning aptitude is lagging making success an impossible dream! The estimated number of school room shortage in the Philippines is more than seventy thousand according to the Department of Education.

With the growing number of parents leaving their families to seek employment in other countries just so to provide to some of the basic needs of their children, schools and the teachers becomes more than secondary home or family for these kids. Many children are part of very poor families, of a broken home or at least unusual families with unusual set up because of the absence of their parents. Over the years the quality of education has fallen drastically. The sad reality comes with dilapidated school buildings with only broken dreams to offer!

Each building with two rooms that can accommodate a total of 100 students a year will only cost $5,000 to be built with the help of the community in order to promote “bayanihan or community volunteerism” and for practical reasons. In addition to the labor counterpart we also require the community, we also demand a counterpart from the local government to provide the furniture and other materials needed before we make a commitment. Thus the local government and DepEd will be challenged and be reminded of their responsibilities. Our goal will be impossible without your support, please take a moment to make a commitment to give generously today in giving the gift of HOPE through education. For inquiries, please contact us

Together we can make a difference!
