"Building better Lives and Stronger Communities"
Its now November 18, 2013, ten days after the Super typhoon Yolanda hit many parts of the Visayan Islands in the Philippines! Relief materials are slowly going to the hands of the millions of victims due to the in-adequate transportation available and the shortage of airport facilities. While the confirmed death is now standing at more thsan 4,000, many more bodies will be recovered and yet many more of the survivors will perish due to sicknesses and diseases that will follow or maybe even from plain starvation!
As we are all looking forward to celebrating Christmas with our families and love-ones with the usual cheers, and special food and even wines in the comfort of our homes, there will be at least 3 (three) million people left homeless and more than 12 (twelve) million individuals are affected by this colosal calamity who cant have any celebrations.
The Philippine Children’s fund of America would like to make an appeal to all of you to please help the victims of the calamity.
