It has been a year now since I achieved my greatest dream of finishing my studies. Last March 31, 2007, I reaped the fruit of my labor. Before, it was just a dream and now it comes to reality and I owe it to God and to the people who had helped me all the way. I wrote this letter solely to extent my sincerest gratitude to Sir Erik and to PCFA for helping me not only with the finances but also for believing in me with no doubts. Thank you so much for all the help and support.
As a working student with no parents, college life was the most challenging part of my life. I had been into a lot of side jobs for my studies. I really wanted to finish my college education. As others may say, "POVERTY IS NOT A HINDRANCE TO SUCCESS" so I sacrificed a lot but there was also a time that I gave up. Things happened when they were not planned to be. I surrendered and by that time I was ready to accept my fate believing that I was a failure myself. Then God send me help. PCFA was there. At first I hesitated believing it was just a dream that someone would help me. PCFA helped regain my confidence, helped me to get back to school until I graduate from college. I owe my success to the people behind PCFA and forever I will be thankful to you.
As of now, I am working as a Customer Service Representative but I still believe in the possibility of going to the homeland of my father, the United States of America. I know that my father will be very happy to see me in person someday. I wish I could go there to see and visit my relatives. I also wish I could visit PCFA USA office and be with my co-Amerasians and together we could help other Amerasians as well. I believe that all things happen as God wants them to be. May your generosity and kindness be my way to achieve all these things. May you help me to make it happen. You had been extending your great help and I hope that you would also help me in this wish of mine.
