Angeles City Children''s Library

The Angeles City Children's Library (ACCL) is a joint project of the Philippine Children''s Fund (PCF) and the Angeles City government. Along Sto. Entierro St. at the City Library and Information Center, the ACCL is an interactive library which houses a wide selection of books, toys and other learning materials that the kids enjoy.

Our Vision

This project envisions the development of the less privileged children of Angeles City into a growing community of literate and concerned individuals.By providing them access to a wide array of reading materials and exposure to different learning activities, PCF hopes to contribute in uplifting the children''s education and eventually to the total development of the community.

Our Mission

To achieve the total development of the young subject, PCF and the City government aims to:

Develop the children's love for reading.
Enhance the reading skills of public elementary pupils.
Provide opportunities that will ensure the development of their analytical and critical skills.
Raise awareness on the importance of preserving and protecting the environment.
Provide children with proper knowledge and values on the importance of preserving and conserving our natural resources.
Inculcate love for nature and contribute ways for its protection

The Activities

To ensure that the Children's Library achieve its purpose, PCF undertakes meaningful activities for the children such as:

At least 50 children from different public schools are invited every Thursday. In every session, there is an Event Host who act not only as story teller but also provides some goodies for the kids. We believe that through this kind of project, we are able to achieve our goal in molding the children's future by "building better lives and stronger communities".
